Things to do this weekend in Williamsburg

Oct. 9 to 11, 2026: Saturday and Sunday plans for markets, art and neighborhood history, with Friday’s screening retained in the archive.

By The Edit: North Brooklyn · Oct. 8, 2026

The remaining weekend in Williamsburg, Oct. 10 and 11, leaves room for markets, an art appointment and a small museum. Choose one fixed stop, then keep enough empty space to make the neighborhood feel like a neighborhood.

Saturday offers two food stops with very different jobs. McCarren Park Greenmarket is for provisions. Smorgasburg is for lunch and indecision. Add an art appointment or the City Reliquary, then leave Sunday’s waterfront walk for the Domino Park Greenmarket.

Schedules and visitor details were rechecked Oct. 10. The remaining weekend plans are Saturday and Sunday; tickets and appointments remain subject to availability. Confirm the official listing before traveling.

Corrected Oct. 9: GrowNYC lists the Domino Park Greenmarket on River Street between South 3rd and South 4th streets, with the season ending Nov. 22. An earlier version gave the wrong cross streets and end date.

The little Metropolitan Avenue museum is exactly right when the day needs an indoor stop but not an institutional marathon. Its collection makes a case for looking harder at the city objects people usually pass without noticing.
