Shopping on the block / Confirmed opening
North Sixth Street gets a softer landing
UGG has a new Williamsburg address. Go for the fit check, not a promise of opening week freebies.
UGG has joined North Sixth Street’s shopping lineup. The brand’s official New York directory now lists a Williamsburg store at 129 N. Sixth St., and Footwear News reported its Brooklyn debut this week. The address is confirmed. A new pair in your exact size is another matter.

Footwear News describes a roughly 3,000 square foot shop carrying footwear, apparel and accessories. That makes it more than a boot pickup point. For the neighborhood, the useful news is a permanent place to compare shapes and sizes in person, rather than another short pop up with a closing date hidden in the caption.
North Sixth already has plenty of fashion gravity. This arrival adds a different shopping mission: something comfortable enough to make you reconsider the shoes you left home in. That is an editorial temptation, not a wear test. A soft first impression still deserves a proper walk around the shop before you decide.
Bring the socks you actually plan to wear. Try both shoes, check the heel and leave room to move your toes. If the purpose is wet weather rather than warmth, ask about the specific model’s materials and care requirements instead of assuming every boot does the same job. Familiar branding is not a substitute for the right product.
We are not listing opening week giveaways or customization sessions as guaranteed plans. Their availability has not been independently confirmed. The official directory is the best starting point for the address; check directly for current hours and stock before making a special trip. The individual location link redirected to the broader locator during our check, so a detailed daily schedule is not reproduced here.
Make it one stop, not the whole day. Try on what you came for, leave yourself time for the surrounding blocks and resist treating every new shop as a mandatory purchase. The archival Berry Street photograph is neighborhood context, not the new UGG storefront. Williamsburg can accommodate a softer landing without requiring another shopping bag.
