Things to do this weekend in Williamsburg
Oct. 23 to 25, 2026: A midnight movie, family music, market lunch, city artifacts and a final Sunday capoeira class.
Williamsburg has two completely different ways to begin the weekend. Friday night can run past midnight at Nitehawk, or Saturday morning can start with a family concert at Brooklyn Bowl. Choose your preferred level of sleep before committing the group chat.

For Oct. 23 to 25, 2026.

The daylight options stay close to the neighborhood. Smorgasburg handles Saturday lunch. The City Reliquary offers an indoor hour on Metropolitan Avenue. Domino Park closes its October capoeira series on Sunday morning, with the waterfront waiting afterward.
Schedules were checked Oct. 22. Film seats, concert tickets and class registration can change. Use the official links for current availability, and treat outdoor plans as weather dependent.
1. Take The Funhouse past midnight

Nitehawk puts Tobe Hooper’s carnival horror film into the right hour. Seating begins before midnight on Friday, with the movie starting after midnight. Put Friday on the calendar so nobody mistakes the technical Saturday start for a Saturday night screening.
Address: 136 Metropolitan Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11249

Friday, Oct. 23, seating at 11:55 p.m. The movie begins after midnight. Nitehawk Williamsburg is at 136 Metropolitan Ave. Check the ticket page for remaining seats and current price.

The Q Brothers and JJQ bring a family concert to Brooklyn Bowl before lunch. It is an all ages show designed for movement and participation, which makes it a better fit for energetic kids than a concert that merely tolerates them. Family Bowl follows after the performance.
Address: 61 Wythe Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11249

Saturday, Oct. 24. Doors open at 11 a.m. and the show begins at 11:45 a.m. at 61 Wythe Ave. Tickets are required for concert entry before 12:30 p.m. Family Bowl begins at 12:30 p.m. with no cover.

The Williamsburg market is back on the waterfront Saturday. Arrive with one useful rule: walk the full row before ordering. That creates a lunch plan instead of a sequence of impulse purchases, and it leaves enough room for one thing you did not expect.
Address: 90 Kent Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11249

Saturday, Oct. 24, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Marsha P. Johnson State Park, 90 Kent Ave. Entry is free. Food and drink purchases are separate.

Still Manic After All These Years turns the hair color brand’s history into a New York story, beginning with its St. Marks Place roots. The City Reliquary is exactly the scale for this kind of material: personal, odd and specific enough to make a short museum visit feel complete.
Address: 370 Metropolitan Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11211
Website: Official website
On view through March 7, 2027. The museum is at 370 Metropolitan Ave. Consult the official visit page for current weekend hours and admission before leaving.

Domino Park’s beginner friendly capoeira series reaches its final scheduled Sunday. The class combines movement and music on the Flex Field, with all fitness levels welcome. Register first, bring the energy you actually have and let the waterfront walk be the cool down.
Address: 15 River St., Brooklyn, NY 11249
